When you’ve avoided her attacks for long enough, she’ll make the entire circle electric. This will move, but only one section of the circle will be covered in electricity at a time. As they glow yellow, hit them to damage Mara.Īfter you hit her for the first time, she’ll introduce electricity to the arena. The aim is to avoid her attacks long enough until she lashes out and a tentacle becomes stuck in one of the electrical boxes. Similarly to previous boss battles, you'll need to learn the patterns here to know when to jump, dash or use sensory boost to avoid attacks. There are a few ways she will try to attack you with them: she swill swing them at you, lunge, slap them down from above and finally, shoot out a charge that you need to avoid. Each time you hit her, this counts as a checkpoint so if you die, you don’t have to restart the entire fight. Mara is fairly easy in comparison to the previous boss battles. You’ll need to make use of these later on in the battle, when they lose their electrical charge so keep an eye on them. When you’re in the arena, you’ll see multiple curved surfaces above you that are covered in electricity. Once you grapple across to this, the boss battle with Mara will begin. Go left and you’ll see a grappling hook hanging at the end of the bridge. Run across the surface on the right (angle your jump towards the top of the surface to gain height) and then up onto the platform. Go right in this room, head forward and there is a ledge higher up you need to reach.
